Sparklers works closely with local authorities and link organisations to:

- Share helpful information  through our social media platforms and events.

- Reduce isolation for families through social networking events.

- Provide inclusive play opportunities for children with additional needs and their siblings.

- Educate families on specific needs and support strategies.

- Signpost families to appropriate services.

- Provide guidance during diagnoses, EHCPs and school application processes.

- Encourage an ethos of self-help and self-care among families.

Our Vision

Our vision is to make the world a better place for individuals with Special Needs and Disabilities, and families where an individual has Additional or Special Needs.

Our Mission Statement

We work towards our vision by reducing or alleviating the challenges faced by individuals with Additional or Special Needs & Disability, and their families in the following ways:

  • Providing safe, nurturing environments for individuals and families to be in, and to interact.
  • Providing educative and helpful information.
  • Providing advocacy and standing up for those who have difficulty standing up for themselves.
  • Working in partnership with other organisations to identify and bridge the gaps in provision for individuals with Special Needs and Disability and their families.
